Registration Information

ICCA 2001 (Industry Day, Monday, July 30) Fee: No charge to ICCBR attendees, otherwise US $150 or Canadian $232.

All presenters are expected to pay the conference registration fee. There will be no exceptions.

What your fee includes

The conference fee includes admission to all four days of conference sessions (Monday, July 30 through Thursday, August 2), Monday welcome reception at Simon Fraser University at Harbour Centre, Tuesday dinner at the Vancouver Aquarium, Wednesday Dinner cruise, and refreshment breaks.

The ICCA 2001 fee is a one-day fee for the sessions on Monday, July 30th and includes the Monday evening reception and Monday refreshment breaks. Delegates who pay the full conference fee do not have to pay a separate fee for Monday.

Student Fee

The student fee applies if you are a full-time student, pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD. A valid copy of your student ID card or proof of full time status must be sent with the conference registration form.

How to Register

By mail

Complete the registration form PDF or HTML, print, and mail to SFU Conference Services. Please submit separate forms for each person from your institution.

By fax

Use your Visa or MasterCard and fax your registration form PDF or HTML to (604) 291-3420.

Methods of Payment

You can pay by cheque or bank draft in US or Canadian dollars made payable to Simon Fraser University. Or by credit card, MasterCard or Visa. Sorry, Simon Fraser University does not accept American Express or Diners Club.

All credit card transactions will be processed in Canadian dollars and are subject to current exchange rates.

Registrations will not be processed without fee payment.

Cancellations and Refunds

Full refunds, less a US $30 (Canadian $46) processing fee, will be granted to cancellations received by Monday, July 23, 2001. No refunds will be issued after that date. Refunds will be mailed after the conference. Substitutions are permitted.

Letter of Invitation

Please email the conference secretariat if you require an official letter of invitation to ICCBR 2001 to assist with an application for visa purposes. The invitation does not oblige the Organizing Committee to pay travel, accommodation or any other expenses.

Receipts

Receipts will be available for collection at the Conference Registration Desk. You will be sent an email as confirmation of your registration.

Social Activities

All these activities are included in the conference fees. You are welcome to bring a guest with you to the Dinner at the Vancouver Aquarium or on the Wednesday Dinner Cruise. Guest tickets for these two events are charged at cost.

Welcome Reception at Simon Fraser University at Harbour Centre

Join your colleagues following the ICCA workshop for a reception in the Segal Centre.

Tuesday, July 31
Dinner with the Belugas at the Vancouver Aquarium

The fun begins the minute you board one of the Vancouver Trolley Company's replica "turn of the century" trolley buses for a tour of Stanley Park before being dropped at the Vancouver Aquarium Marine Science Centre for dinner in the Belluga Gallery.

Guest tickets cost US$ 50 or Cdn $75 and include a bus tour of Stanley Park, admission to the Vancouver Aquarium (Belluga Gallery), dinner, and round trip bus transportation on a Vancouver Trolley bus.

Wednesday, August 1
Sunset Harbour Cruise on the MV Pride

Join your colleagues for a Sunset Dinner Cruise and experience the wonder of Stanley Park as you sail underneath the Lions Gate Bridge and cruise through the waters of English Bay. Highlights include a three hour cruise, catered gourmet meal, and Vancouver?s best views. The cost is US $50 or Canadian $75.
